This group runs once a week on a Thursday in the Chapelside Centre, Waddell Street, Airdrie community buildings in Airdrie. Entry is by annual membership of £3 , with a £2 per visit on days attended. This group provides all tools and materials for people to build their own projects from wood. If you need advice on your project it is always available from the group members. This is a small group of people who have an interest in woodworking. During my visit , group members where crafting wooden toys and building picture frames. I started building som front doors for the Fairy garden project at Summerlee heritage park. Unfortunately the site is not wheel chair accessible and power tools are available but can only be used after external training and assessment.
