The Airdrie Observatory. Based in Airdrie Library with regular meetings at one Wellwynd ,Airdrie. Good mobility is needed as there are several stairs to climb. An access lift is being proposed to reach the first floor of the building . This will still leave 1 flight of stairs to climb to access the telescopes.

AIRDRIE BOWLING CLUB

 ( OUTDOOR GRASS)

This private bowling club within Airdrie. A well maintained and busy bowling club running from 11am till 4.30pm with an evening session with times dependent on Members needs. An annual fee of £150 buys you membership of the club, which also holds frequent functions for members and public to attend. I enjoyed my day here and found the members interesting and funny.
