Coatbridge. An excellent day out for all the family. Comprising of a Large main museum, working trams, woodshed, through the decades cottages and their gardens. A Cornerstone Connects community garden and a reconstruction of a coal mine.

Most Bank holidays ,Summerlee  Museum run special days. On the 20th of July they ran a 1940s day. With attractions like enactment groups, vintage cars and vans, colleagues dressed in vintage clothing, show and tell of how things were, There very own folk enactment quartet performing period songs and much ,much more. These days are great days out  for all age groups from the bairns to granny. Keep an eye out for their calendar of events.
