Council Community Centres

I have visited several  of the 62 Community centres in North Lanarkshire all of which are Council ran. Most have some groups running either closed groups for specific council or social work groups and private lets, were an individual or committee have set up and run groups on a let by let basis. I have found these groups are very fluid as in they may run for a short space of time or are only run on a seasonal basis. Therefore I have 2 pieces of advice. Firstly contact your local Community centre (The link below will give you contact details) and see what groups are running at that time or better still build your own group by taking a let and ensuring what you need is available when you want it. You will find everything from Bingo, Self help groups, bowling,  Slimming classes, Karate to Dog training classes. Here is a link to the councils Community centres for North Lanarkshire.
